This FunnelPro Review will cover the SMS products and services offered by this text message marketing provider. Learn how the FunnelPro text message marketing plans work, what you can expect from their SMS services, and if they offer a mobile marketing plan that will work for you.
FunnelPro operates under the Boost Web Marketing, LLC, which is a web marketing company located in Indiana. Boost Web Marketing offers services in web design, email marketing, SEO, dedicated server hosting, and more. Developing a SMS marketing site falls right in line with their expertise in years of marketing experience.
FunnelPro uses a web based SMS platform that allows their uses to send and receive text messages via their short code. A short code is a shortened telephone number only used for text messaging. FunnelPro owns the short code 50464, which will be the number you use if you choose to purchase an SMS package from them. A KEYWORD is what will separate your business from any others using the same short code. When signing up for any FunnelPro text messaging plan you will be able to choose 3 keywords to identify and represent your business, for instance an Italian restaurant may choose keywords “pizza”, “pasta”, and “Italy”. FunnelPro does a good job on their website of giving examples, help, and demos to all different types of businesses letting them know how they can best use their text message services.
FunnelPro offers free demos to help explain how their message system works, however you must first offer up your name, email, and phone number. Which for most isn’t a big deal and worth the free lesson and advice. If you are not sure about offering up your info or don’t want one-on-one advice, you can sign up for the FunnelPro Starter Plan which is totally FREE. The Starter account will give you access to their short code, 3 keywords, and 50 texts per month. 50 texts a month isn’t going to last long but is a great way to see if the FunnelPro text message platform is something that will work for you/your business. The next step would be to upgrade to their Basic plan which is $14.99 a month for 3 keywords and 150 texts a month. The Regular plan offers up 3 keywords and 500 texts a month. Additional keywords are available for a price but you must contact FunnelPro for a quote. Additional messages are also available at $20 per 1,000 texts. The FunnelPro video on their homepage indicates there is also a plan that includes 5,000 messages for $125 a month. However their pricing page does not offer the option to sign up for that plan, it appears you would need to call them directly to sign up for it. FunnelPro allows you to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your account any time.
In doing research we found that FunnelPro has an affiliate program, but there is no link anywhere on their website that directs you to the affiliate page. If you do an Internet search for “funnelpro affiliate” you will be able to find the information. Which is basically a 2 tier affiliate program that pays a 30% recurring commission and 5% on second tier referrals. Not much more information is available about their affiliate program, but the page indicates more details are in the works. There is a “register here” link that will take you to a sign up page.
FunnelPro does not offer any kind of 24/7 toll free telephone support. However, you can always get assistance by sending a message through your control panel, an email, the website, or via a regular long distance number. The regular telephone number shouldn’t be an issue for most FunnelPro customers since the chances of having a cell phone and not being charged for the call is a great possibility (given you are signing/signed up for a text marketing plan).
